An Italian Christmas

For Italians, Christmas is the holiday of all holidays, and my family is no exception. Year after year, we gather around the table to partake in the traditional "Feast of the 7 Fishes" and take time away from our busy schedules to enjoy one another's company. While I've taken some time away from work to enjoy our family's holiday traditions and spend time with my loved ones, I wanted to share a few photos from one of my favorite days of the year.

My cousins and I always get dressed up for the occasion, and take pictures well before we dig into the much anticipated meal. Pictured below is spaghetti with clam sauce which was my favorite! This meal, so lovingly prepared by my aunts and Nonna, takes days of preparation, but it is well worth it.

I hope you all enjoyed the holidays as much as I did! It is truly a time to make memories with loved ones and cherish the people that are always there for you.

I want to wish all of my readers a Happy New Year! Now is a great time to reflect on the past year, and to set goals for the new. I know that's what I will be doing, as I plan some fresh and exciting ideas for The Blog that I can't wait to share with all of you.

Cheers to a happy, healthy, and adventurous 2017!
